That authorisation confirms that no statutory bar applies to holding shares in a Spanish sports corporation. The transaction closed subsequently, on the terms set out in the purchase agreement.
Club governance
In September 2026, Alexandro Rovirosa became Chairman of the Board of Directors of Club Deportivo Guadalajara, S.A.D. According to the club's official announcement, he shares delegated management functions with Carlos Ávila, who remains President of the club.
